Our Sunday Celebrations are held at Queen Katharine Academy. The aim of these weekly gatherings is to enjoy being family together and to provide opportunity for all to be strengthened, encouraged and inspired as we encounter God in a life-changing way.
We start to meet up from 10am. This gives us time to welcome and catch up with people before the service starts and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
At 10.30am we gather in the main auditorium for lively praise which leads us into
worship, prayer and Bible teaching. We give opportunity for people to receive personal prayer if desired. Our services are informal and homely and people of all ages are welcome.
The KidsChurch team is co-ordinated by Richard Carden-Edwards and is presented in several integrated sections:
Prayer and Worship; Teaching; Bible; Story;
Snack; Games; Bible Verses; Activity
The teaching in KidsChurch parallels the main sermon themes and titles but is adapted to make it fun and accessible.
The overall aim of KidsChurch is for our children to:
grow in a personal relationship with Jesus
learn to ‘walk with God’ in their daily lives
grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit
