Our Values

FAMILY TOGETHER

We believe that our love for God should be expressed through our love for one other. This means that we are committed to being family together - open hearts and open homes - each one looking out for and caring for the needs of others.

GROWING TOGETHER

We believe that all who have invited Jesus to be their Saviour and Lord have begun a journey that is to last a lifetime. We therefore believe that all should take personal responsibility for growth in their walk with God, encouraged and inspired by our journey together, resulting in spiritual health, holiness and fruitfulness for both the individual and the church.

SHARING LIVES TOGETHER

We believe that progress in our faith can only be achieved through being open and honest with ourselves, with God and with one another. This is the only way in which we can become the people God intends us to be.

SERVING TOGETHER

We believe that every member has valuable part to play in the life of the church and we are committed to helping them discover their unique gifting and to finding the right place for them to serve. We believe that serving enhances a person's sense of well being and belonging.

REACHING OUT TOGETHER

We believe that every believer is a witness to God's transforming power and has a part to play in reaching the lost, whether it be through family relationships and friendships, or through one of our community programmes.

Our Dreams

We dream of mobilising every member to come to a place of maturity in their faith - living their lives in the light of all Jesus has done for them, enjoying the freedom He has secured for them, and fulfilling the purpose to which He has called them.
We dream of a place where the lonely, hurting, hopeless, discouraged, and rejected in this city can find love and acceptance, guidance and encouragement, hope and practical help.
We dream of a place where those who respond to the love of God and accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord, can live in a supported community and be given life skills, training and employment.
We dream of raising up leaders from among those reached through our community programmes, so that they can in turn lead others - in a way that none of us could - by example of their transformed lives.
We dream of seeing the whole of Peterborough and the surrounding region transformed by the love of God by working in partnership with other churches across the city.
We dream of sending and receiving missionaries so that we may link hands with other families of believers across the globe and share in God's blessing.
