community Action

At the heart of the Open Door Church is the desire to make known the love of God in our communities, especially to those who are hurting, vulnerable, oppressed, and lonely. 

We believe that making God's love known is all about expressing it in practical ways and through offering friendship.

The community work that we are currently involved in is in two main areas of overlapping ministry: 

• NEW TO YOU - serving the local community
• CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY - serving the poor
