the marriage course 
This course was birthed out of Holy Trinity Brompton, home to the Alpha Course, and has been embraced internationally as a wonderful tool to enrich and strengthen married life.
The aim of the marriage course is to enable and equip couples to build a strong and intimate relationship based on effective communication, love and respect. The course runs for seven evenings (plus a social at the end) where couples find out new things about each other, or rediscover things forgotten. The course is for any couple who wants to invest in their relationship, whether they have been together for six months, six years or 60 years, and regardless of whether they have a strong relationship or are struggling.
Each week covers a separate area:
- Building Strong Foundations
- The Art of Communication
- Resolving Conflict
- The Power of Forgiveness
- Parents and In-Laws
- Good Sex
- Love in Action
A TYPICAL EVENING would start with enjoying a drink on arrival, prayer and an introduction to the evening’s topic. The teaching and discussion times are delivered via DVD along with the Marriage Course manual. All discussions are entirely private between husband and wife.
