part of the family?

On my first visit to the Open Door Church 7 years ago I felt very much at home because of the way I was made to feel by those who I encountered that day. I was captivated by it all and felt God say to me "Welcome home, Son!"

From Day One I took my place in the family and started to stack chairs. I even prayed for a lady that day who I'd never met before.  Nobody asked me to do it, I was just doing what came naturally to someone who God had called even though I didn't know it at the time. I instantly felt part of the family - which is exactly what we are.

Who are we?

We are the team who help make the Sunday worship service what it is.

In fact we are a number of small teams who work together to achieve more than we could do on our own. Welcome, Set up, Worship, Audio & Visuals, Refreshments, Promiseland, Prayer ministry & System. Each team is different but has the same goal. Every family member is committed to producing a Sunday service that is inviting, captivating and inspirational. Age, ability, experience and skills are all welcome assets that add a mix of flavours to what we do.

If you've been in Church 10 minutes or 10 years we would love you to join us. The main thing is that you enjoy it and get a buzz out of serving with us.  We'll train you and support you and we'll make sure you have time off regularly.
