CELEBRATION AT THE CENTRE

On Friday 27 January, Joyce Cox will be retiring from her role as manager of the Community Shop.  This news comes with mixed emotions - great sadness as it marks the end of an era for the shop as we know it now and because Joyce will be greatly missed - and joy that Joyce can enjoy a time of hard-earned rest following her 11 years of service in the community.

We will be holding a celebration at the Centre on Friday lunchtime 12.30pm for all staff, friends and customers - anyone who would like to say thank you to Joyce and wish her well for the future.

The celebration will also mark the closure of the shop until further notice.

 

During February the church will be taking time to fast and pray. We will be asking God to give us fresh vision for the Centre and to raise up a new leader and core team from within the Open Door Church to manage and lead the work. We will also be working hard to get to the place where we can re-launch the Centre in its new format.
