God has spoken to us about 2009 being a year to ADVANCE. As we devote ourselves to following God we will know more of God doing a work in us and through us on an individual level and as a church together.
He has called us to be a FAMILY and an ARMY.
The main areas we will be focussing on in 2009 are:
1. DISCIPLESHIP - strengthening our foundations of faith in God and growing in our daily walk with Him
2. PRAYER - strengthening our personal and corporate prayer life so that we may capture more of God's heart and prepare the way for us to move forward with God's resources
3. SUNDAY TEACHING SERIES - providing Bible based teaching for living God's way and helping us learn to apply it
4. BUILDINGS - acquiring properties to facilitate the work God has given us to do
5. STAFF - increasing the workforce with more volunteers and paid staff
"I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
