Peterborough Wins New CAP Centre of the year

At this year's Christians Against Poverty 'Closer' Conference,  Peterborough was awarded the title "New Centre Of The Year 2008"

Dave Key (Centre Manager) was pleased to accept the award on behalf of The Open Door Church and the CAP Peterborough team who have shown amazing support in the first year of opening the centre in partnership with Christians Against Poverty.

The award was presented by Helen Johnson (Head of Centre Development) on the last evening of the conference.  The award was in recognition of the success of the Peterborough Centre which has been fully booked with new clients every month since opening in October 2007 and have surpassed every performance target made by Helen Johnson.  Helen said "I just can't challenge Dave anymore,  I asked him to try and get three Life Changers and he got eight; I asked him to see six clients a month and he has been visiting seven!"
